Is the market on this weekend, and is the road closed for it?
This information exists, but it is scattered across council websites, posters on lampposts, local social media groups and word of mouth. People find out about a road closure when they are stuck at it, or about a market the day after. Neighbourhood chat groups help but are noisy and hard to search. Newcomers to an area have it hardest, because they don't know which sources to watch.
